About Life
Many times the question is asked, “What is the purpose of life?” “Why was I placed on this earth?” The Bible says that you were placed on the earth for God’s pleasure. He created you with the intent of having a relationship with you. Unfortunately as humans we are innately flawed, because of our personal sin we cannot have a proper relationship with the God who created us. The only way we can experience a relationship with God is to follow His plan that allows our sins to be forgiven. God loves you and He knows you. His desire is that you would accept Him as Saviour today. If you want to have a relationship with God you must believe in Jesus and accept Him as your Saviour.
Jesus Christ, God in human flesh, paid the penalty for your sin by dying on the cross. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 KJV)
Three days later He rose from the dead proving He is God. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: (I Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV).
He now offers all who trust Him free access into Heaven through His death, burial, & resurrection. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 KJV)
If you call on Him today admitting your sin, asking Him to give you eternal life, trusting only Him, and not your good works to get you to Heaven…you can be sure of Heaven. It is our prayer that you do this today.
You can pray this simple prayer:
“Lord Jesus I know that I am a sinner. I know that you are God, and that you died to pay for my sin. I believe that you rose from the dead, proving that you are God. Right now, in the best way I know how, I ask you to be my Lord, Saviour, and my God. Thank you Jesus for dying for me. Help me now to live for you. Amen”
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:11-13)
